Join us for another Wednesday TransDay! on the 17th of April. We will screen the gorgeous film UYRA. The film follows Uýra, a trans-indigenous artist who travels through the Amazon on a journey of self-discovery.
Following the screening of Uýra, special guests Alejandra Ortiz and Alma Aguilar Betancurt of Papaya Kuir will go into conversation on the core themes of the film, paying attention to the lives of the indigenous communities represented onscreen and the environmental impacts of tourism.
