Mel is an intimate documentary about Mel Daluzyan, one of Armenia’s most talented weightlifters, a once beloved champion who has won medals and broken world records, but whose fame turned to infamy when his transgender identity became widely known.
Despite all the adversity Mel has faced since then, he continues to fight. A fight that almost cost him his life and eventually brought him to the Netherlands, where he fights for a new life with his great love Lilith.
