Three hours of swimming! This is a pilot – a new set-up. The first hour and a half only for transgender people and the second hour and a half for the entire LGBTQIAP+ family in a wave pool in Amsterdam on Thursday July 27, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.

Please note – this event is done by volunteers in collaboration with Pride and Sports. Pedal for Pride 2023 (cycling/cycling) Cycling is a great sport. It is an important part of everyday life in the Netherlands. We cycle to work, to do the shopping, to exercise or just to feel good. However, when it comes to joining a club or as an amateur to take up cycling, there are many barriers for LGBTQIA+ people. It is common knowledge that the cycling industry is not inclusive of divers at all levels. This culture must change. TRANS magazine, in collaboration with Tugela85 and the Bob Angelo Fund, is organizing a series of low-stimulus evenings during Queer & Pride Amsterdam 2023 that are specifically aimed at the gender diverse community and its allies. Evenings in a cozy and comfortable lounge, with quiet conversations, good books, non-alcoholic drinks, snacks and silent disco headphones. A group of volunteers keeps an eye on the peace and ensures that it is a nice and safe environment to celebrate your own pride party in peace.
On the last evening, Friday July 28, between 8 and 9 p.m., we will close the stimulus-free pride with a conversation about the future of TRANS magazine and how we can better unite the trans community. Our new board will also officially take over there and we will say goodbye to the old board.

As part of Queer & Pride Amsterdam 2023, Foam proudly presents Seahorse Parents by the well-known filmmaker and photographer Miriam Guttmann. With this project, Guttmann confronts prevailing ideas about what is ‘feminine’ and what is ‘masculine’ and sharpens the social image of pregnancy with the aim of celebrating the image of pregnant transgender people.

An open and honest panel discussion about love, relationships, intimacy and sexual autonomy in the trans community. Sure, hormones and other gender-affirming concerns can affect desire, sex, and intimacy, but it’s not just the medical aspect that affects love and relationships. The public image of transgender people is often sexualized and fetishized by the media as the community is ready to take charge of their own bodies and boundaries. A journey of love songs from hostess Agnes brings our panel together.
