A selection of short films from 15 years of TranScreen, both from Dutch makers and abroad. Including an activist music video from Finland, a sweet Amelie-esque fairytale from Canada, and two coming-of-age stories from the Netherlands, this collage of TranScreen shorts is sure to surprise you!

Nasser (2015)

Coming of age drama in which thirteen-year-old Nasser is expected to behave like a young woman.
I’ve Only Just Began (2013)

The queer revolution must come now. Ragingly beautiful and empowering story about Venuz Vulgar and his friends on their way to St. Petersburg, Russia. Over 60 people were involved in this independent production, a real social media sensation.
Limina (2015)

A gender-fluid child named Alessandra who, led by innocence and intuition, is so curious about the lives of the inhabitants of a small picturesque town that they decide to play an active part in an unknown woman’s mourning process.

A music video made by My Genderation collaboration with non binary musician Shonalika and Hazel Cronin where they explore and reflect on their experiences as a non-binary person in modern society. 
Something About Alex (Anders) (2017)

Teenager Alex has a special bond with his sister’s boyfriend and must confront the depth of his feelings when he announces that they will be moving to the city.
