During the UvA Pride, the UvA and TranScreen will present a short documentary followed by a full length movie. The screening will take place at CREA at Amsterdam. Before the movies, there will be an introduction by the makers.

Queer as Punk

While it is illegal to be LGBTQIA+ in Malaysia, trans man Faris and his punk band still travel the country to play gigs and protest. Queer as Punk is a documentary about courageous people who oppose the political reality in their country, while they are filled with energy and humor.
